Current- Lead advocacy, programming, education, training, and outreach efforts through a framework designed by autistic and neurodivergent people for use by families and professionals working with autistic and neurodivergent children- Provide training and consultation for parents, families, and organizations in adjustments and assessments to improve the environment for autistic children- Consult and provide resources for parents to identify sensory needs to make environmental changes and teach children to advocate for their own needs- Encourage developing steps to increase accessibility in all areas of life through executive functioning by remedying complex or unclear systems- Honor all forms for communication and work to support children in their authentic communication style through technology, ASL, picture systems, etc- Promote self-advocacy skills and accommodations in home, school, and community to support reciprocal understanding between neurodivergent children and their peers- Works with children to identify and discover what the child needs and create a system of support to improve their quality of life
