Otep has been active in the Philippine Drupal Community and has handled several projects built on Drupal. He also helps local and international development teams by providing consultancy (usually for free) on different technologies to integrate in their current projects, and help architect information systems.

Trained with Convergys in learning how to deal with technical concerns for customers in the United States. This training has helped him in his current engagement as he fully understands how customers think and react to different scenarios. He has also managed to get level 10 accreditation in Pearson's Business English evaluation.

He provided support for fellow students by joining in review sessions as a tutor for math, chemistry and physics. He used to dream of becoming a teacher in a public school. His skills in teaching has helped in him in his current career track in coaching and teaching colleagues and teammates.
