Hi my name is Olukayode Teague. I have always been interested and surrounded by carpentry and construction. When my family first bought a house in NY it was a fixer-upper which my father, grandfather, other friends of the family and I worked on to improve and update the property. I started my first job in the construction field after High School. I work for Orries Home Improvement for the summer before I began college. I Went to NYC College of Technology and studied one year in the electrical engineering technology program then switched to Architectural Technology program. I decided to get back into a trade in January 2011 and have pursued doing construction from there on. I worked at Powersmith for 2.5 years and worked my way from a crew member to a assistant project manager. From organization, being detailed oriented and great communication skills, I gained a tremendous amount of knowledge and leadership skills. I am currently enrolled at the General Society of Mechanics and Tradesmen where I am studying Construction Project Management. I am hard working, fast learner and work great by myself or with a team. I am ready for the challenges ahead and always willing to learn and polish my skills and talents.
