As a Mechanical Engineering graduate, I have cultivated a diverse skill set through various roles and projects. My work experience spans from optimizing network designs as a Systems Designer at Eastlink to assembling and testing advanced ocean-based technologies like the Modular Ocean-Based Instrument (MOBI) at Ashored Innovations. I’ve consistently enhanced efficiency—improving project delivery times by up to 20%—and led cross-functional teams, streamlining processes and contributing to successful project completions. In addition, I’ve worked with technical systems, using AutoCAD and Excel, and conducted testing to ensure product reliability, such as reducing defects by 20%.I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Dalhousie University, where I completed significant academic projects including the design of an Acoustic Transparent Pressure Vessel (ATPV) and the development of a Linear Quadratic Regulator (LQR) controller for an inverted pendulum system. My academic achievements are complemented by hands-on project work and research, further enhanced by my commitment to continuous learning..My commitment to professional development is demonstrated by certifications like Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) and CPR-C/AED, which reflect my focus on safety and preparedness in technical environments. Beyond my career, I’ve contributed to community inclusivity through roles such as Member of the DUES Equity Committee, where I facilitated discussions on critical issues, and organized events for first-year students as part of Dalhousie’s Orientation Week Committee.Driven by a passion for problem-solving, I am keen to leverage my technical skills, industry knowledge, and leadership experience to make meaningful contributions to my community and the environment. I am always looking for new challenges where I can apply my expertise in engineering and project management to drive innovation and success.
