I am delighted to present a summary of my experience at Capgemini Engineering as a BI consultant within the FUDV and MTCC teams. My role was to contribute to a multifaceted project that delivered significant benefits to these departments.The Project:Indexed Storage on SharePoint: The project implemented an indexed storage system on SharePoint, enabling efficient organization of critical data for the FUDV and MTCC departments.Analysis and Visualization with Power BI and Python: I was involved in data analysis and visualization using Power BI and Python. This capability transformed raw data into actionable insights.Web Access and Dashboard Sharing: The project facilitated data access and dashboard sharing among teams and clients using Power BI Service/Cloud. This improved collaboration and accessibility of critical information.Automated Updates with Power Automate: Data update automation was achieved through Power Automate, reducing manual and time-consuming tasks.Project Outcomes:15-Hour Weekly Maintenance Time Savings: Thanks to the efficiency of indexed storage and automation, the FUDV and MTCC departments achieved a significant 15-hour weekly time savings in data maintenance.Reduction in Electricity Consumption: The project contributed to a reduction in electricity consumption, which is both cost-effective and environmentally beneficial.Enhanced Information Security: The implementation of roles in data visualization strengthened information security, ensuring that only authorized individuals had access to sensitive data.In summary, my role as a BI consultant in this project optimized processes, reduced costs, and improved data security for the FUDV and MTCC departments.
