Client-facing consultant currently on-site with the Bureau of Medicine and Surgery.Due to my extensive knowledge of the NERP system as well as my previous experience with Federal contracts and financial management systems, I was selected to be a member of the project team that is responsible for a large data migration from the legacy financial management system (STARS FM) to an ERP (NERP). Responsible for: • Providing front-line support to clients (Contract Specialists and Credit Cardholders) to insure the successful transfer of accurate data from system to system. Such support includes troubleshooting errors, researching issues, identifying the root cause, and initiating corrective actions which often included role mapping and manually loading contracts into place until a system fix is available.• Transfer of system knowledge to end users by way of 1:1 coaching, regular hosting of Q&A roundtables and conducting live training sessions via Teams.

Provided financial and technical support to multiple DoD Program Managers. Responsibilities included but were not limited to:• Timely, accurate, and transparent funds management. This included enforcing fund controls, tracking present and future appropriations in the ERP and providing daily, weekly, and monthly status reports. • Procurement for 3 commercial buildings used by the DoD. Managed the relationship with preferred vendors. Maintained the files and monitored performance and adherence to contract terms. • Managed the budget for all business expenditures such as leases, equipment, furnishings, software, systems, services such as cleaning, security, maintenance, and general office supplies. • Reconciled invoices to contract specifications and performed quarterly audits to identify errors, exceptions and variances to the agreed upon terms• Participated in financial budget planning including program objective memorandums (POM) submissions

Engaged to provide finance and contract management analysis. Specifically responsible for:• Review contracts and grants to ensure that all agency guidelines have been noted and are properly followed. In the event of discrepancies, contracts were rewritten or amended to reflect all required terms.• Prepare and modify PRs and MIPRs Purchase orders using the Defense Agency Initiative (DAI) system.• Track and document program commitments, obligations, expenditures, contract performance, and program status execution, to include program milestones, schedule, and cost.
