Hi everyone. My name is Yiu Hang Cheng, known as Otis. I have been working in hospitality industry for over 17 years and in specialty coffee industry for over 7 years. Most of my experiences were from Hong Kong and a part of my experiences were from Australia. I used to study in Australia and I undertook Certificate III & IV in Commercial Cookery, as cooking is one of my interests. I came to Canada with my wife in December 2022 and it was our first time to be here. I have aimed to graduate in Centennial College with a diploma course in Hotel Operations Management. I have found my passion in working in this industry and I believe that the knowledge and qualification from this course could lead my career path to the next level. I am a friendly, supportive and caring person. I would like to assist people around me whoever needs help. I think staying kind and positive are ones of the key characteristics as a person. Sometimes I would become a leader to guide by my experiences and visions. Life and work bring me challenges that excites me and encourage me to get tougher and improve. I am also focused on what I am good at which is being a professional barista, coffee trainer as well as a responsible and successful management role with respect.
