Omar has served as a management consultant for 10 years with specialization in the Consumer Goods and Private Equity sectors, and M&A. He has worked with several multinational and local companies in developing their route-to-market strategies with a special focus in fragmented markets where DSD is often used. He has developed proprietary knowledge to optimize the efficiency of DSD networks while maximizing the impact on the point of sale, with experience acquired since 2003 in multiple countries included Mexico, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Korea and some other emerging markets indirectly.Omar has supported several private equity funds to evaluate potential assets in Mexico and other parts of the world, including Europe, Asia, South America and the Caribbean, and has gained strong diligence experience throughout the years. He has also supported several multinational companies in their M&A efforts in Mexico and other locations, covering the target screening assessment, due diligence, 100 day plans and/or integration plans. He has also had the opportunity to work on integration efforts.
