Product Manager Maize International
Current• Product management SAATEN-UNION business unit maize• Portfoliomanagement, LCM and product advancement• Development of replacement scenarios and implementation of exit strategies• Variety description, positioning and presentation of new varieties to local product managers, sales reps or customers• Management of European hybrid introduction process, individual product launch and optimization of go-to-market strategies• Analysis of official post registration trials and internal trail network results• Short and midterm business planning: budgeting and forecasting of financial results for business unit maize, return and margin analysis and improvement of performance and portfolio metrics• Seasonal and midterm demand planning for production and purchase, including risk management• Input for European and CIS variety registration strategies • Planning and allocation of trial and demo seed over all countries• Transfer of product knowledge and exchange with breeders, suppliers and subsidiaries • Input and initiatives of international marketing and product launch campaigns • Execution of market and competitor analysis • Involvement of seasonal commercial seed processing• Support of crop and area managers as well as marketing department, lead of local product managers
