I'm a board-certified, fellowship-trained physician with several years of post-training experience in a variety of clinical environments who thrives on bringing all stakeholders through challenging, terrifying, and time-constrained scenarios. I hold an additional graduate degree encompassing biostatistics, epidemiology, and clinical trial design. I spent the first decade of my life in Spain and have since traveled far and wide, working in Brazil, Peru, China, and Poland. During my longest stay abroad I paired with local organizations, designing and implementing a mobile HIV-testing service in Africa.Since then, I've had the fortune to work on several unique teams and have honed the ability to bring out the best in those around me, whether leading peers, mentees, or up the chain of command. I also bring out the best in my dog using a strategic combination of carrots (literally) and sticks (fetch).I'm also good at being alone when the situation demands, whether devouring data or taking specific action. I thrive on endurance sports (running) and activities (piano).
