About Otto Mendonça
Seasoned conference interpreter based in Brazil with Portuguese A, English and Spanish B, and French C. German and Italian are just for fun, or pain. Used to working in crop fields and the halls of diplomacy. Rubbed shoulders with indigenous leaders and presidents. Long story with tourism, entrepreneurship, and applied linguistics cut short, I ended up writing a book on Language Examinations after having taken 12 tests in 6 languages. Was also a speaking examiner for Cambridge and Instituto Cervantes. To wrap up, I'm a pioneer of the polyglot movement in Brazil.As the pandemic hit, I seized an opportunity and joined the most interpreter-centric multilingual conference platform out there, that is, KUDO. My goal is to reach out to the interpreters' community and make sure they get the most of their experience on KUDO.
