Acting as a teacher during the semester for laboratory courses aimed at 1st to 3rd year bachelor’s students has improved my pedagogical skills dramatically and I have learned about instrumentation and how to build proper measurement setups. Not only being able to build ones myself but to project that knowledge to others, how and why certain things need to be considered has really deepened my knowledge on the subject. During spring semesters, I have worked as an assistant on a course aimed for freshmen students, focusing on Arduinos and general electronic. We developed the course materials for Arduinos and tested them on our students, got positive feedback from the projects and implemented it on a similar course aimed at high school students who complete majority of the course and project work by distance learning. I have also acted as the closest link between students and the associate professor of both of these courses, coordinating our study schedules and making sure the course can progress as planned. I gained plenty of positive feedback from my performance from both the students and my superiors.

During the summer of 2019 my main duties include creating the course contents for a new laboratory course aimed at 3rd year students at LUT, this includes basic laboratory instruments, automation, embedded systems and power engineering.I'm also focusing some of my time for the ongoing research project focused on heat flux and human measurements. This includes both embedded system programming and electronics design.

Teaching Arduinos and general electronics as part of LUMA (=STEM - Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) for school children of varying ages at the university.I have developed multiple different styles of workshops around Arduinos ranging from 30 minutes to 3 days, the target audience has been anything between 5th graders all the way to high school students. For running the Arduino-workshops I had 1-3 colleagues with me.

Embedded system programmer and electronics designing for a TUTLI-research project focused on utilizing heat flux measurements from humans in better energy expenditure estimations. During the summer and fall of 2018 we developed a prototype wearable device for research purposes that coould be used for human heat flux measurements conducted at University of Jyväskylä Faculty of Sport and Health Sciences.

Responsible for the student culture of our campus. This included organizing both small and larger events, some which required close cooperation with the authorities. I have gained plenty of knowledge in project management and organization and utilization of different resources the city and authorities require you to fill out, for example how to make proper emergency plan for an event, how to submit public event forms for the police and how to submit the proper noise permits according to environmental protection laws.

Developement and testing of new course materials for university laboratory course aimed at freshmen students.Old laboratory course at LUT was split into 3 courses, so all the materials had to be redone and be focused on practical exercises around our laboratories. The new materials we as a development team came up with focused on the basic instruments and components every electrical engineering student should know about, multimeters, oscilloscopes and how to utilize these in a different measurement settings.Needing to come up with different measurements to use the full range of these instruments really deepened my knowledge on how to use them.

As an exam supervisor my duties included taking care of the exam space beforehand and making sure everything is set. During exams I made sure that everyone had a quiet space to work with, while being on the lookout for any cheaters. After the exam I collected all the filled in exams and stored them in a place to be evaluated.
