Stixy is a web-based service that makes online collaboration incredibly easy. Stixy lets users create boards, which can contain any combination of tasks, appointments, files, photos, and notes. Users can keep these boards private or share them with colleagues, co-workers, friends, or family. Unlike most productivity software, Stixy doesn’t dictate how users should organize their information. Stixyboards are designed to be instantly familiar to any one who has used a regular bulletin board. Stixy is funded, owned and developed by Anders Ottoson and Jonas Höglund.

Founded the business and landed client contracts in U.S.A, Europe, and Asia, refined and increased the interactive design service. Sold, planned, managed and executed client projects. Established Harmonic’s Corporate Identity including; Brand Style Guide, Stationery, and Templates for internal and external communication.PeoplePC | San Francisco, CAAs a strategic partner, SWATdesign helped PeoplePC develop user experience for their more than 250,000 members. In collaboration with in-house developers and other consultants, SWATdesign conceptualized and implemented PeoplePC’s Member Portal including services like; PeoplePal, PeopleShop, and PeoplePages.CTRL Publishing Systems | Stockholm, SwedenSWATdesign supported CTRL Publishing Systems in establishing themselves on the European market. Created the corporate identity, developed and implemented a visual design language for the corporate web site, web based applications, and marketing collateral.

Led the web site design team for the launch of AllBusiness.com, a web portal servicing small businesses. Shortly after launch NBCi bought AllBusiness.com to merge with Bigvine Inc. in a multi-million dollar deal. Collaborated with a global team to create Icon Medialab’s corporate web site with a design that focuses on its multinational image. The database-driven site integrated Active Server Pages technology, and provided a publishing system to facilitate contributions by ten offices in six languages. Worked closely with the founding team at IDG on-line to establish online identities and web sites for The Industry Standard and Games.net. The Industry Standard’s web site quickly became a major online news source for the new economy. Both The Standard.com and Games.net were designed to interface with the Vignette publishing system. Conceptualized and produced a joint venture site with Macromedia to promote ALAPI dynamic HTML user interface objects. Collaborated with programmers from Icon San Francisco, Icon Stockholm, and Macromedia.

Hired as number 10 at Icon’s first office in Stockholm. In four years the company grows to over 1000 employees and 19 offices in 13 countries. Involved in all major projects from the initial sales proposals to post-delivery with an emphasis on information design, interaction design, and visual design. Supervised Graphic design and Web programming. Speaker for Icon Education, addressing web design issues. Worked closely to Icons Management Consultants to establish and communicate an exclusive web design process for Icon’s offices. Designed and managed a high profile, bilingual web site for The Swedish Defense. Coordinated a team of representatives from The Swedish Defense, their ad agency, designers, copywriters, photographers, and translators. The project was extended from the Navy to the entire Swedish Defense, which required coordination between different branches across Sweden. Met their budget by developing templates and a training program that allowed each branch to create, organize, and maintain their own sites.

Art Director for CAP & Design, the best-known Scandinavian graphic design magazine, Swedish edition of PC World, and MikroDatorn, Sweden’s largest and most widely read computer magazine. Oversaw the editorial workflow from the art department to the pre-press and print shop. Collaborated with; Editorial, Designers, Photographers, and Illustrators to visualize and produce; magazine covers, illustrations, charts and marketing materials. Cut costs and reduced turnaround time by redesigning the magazines to support a template based layout system and by moving the pre-press process in-house.
