With more than 20 years of experience in mechanical engineering, I have developed a deep understanding of nuclear fusion technology. Throughout my career, I have been committed to remote handling. Since 2016 I am the Technical Responsible Officer of Divertor Remote Handling System, which will install and replace the heaviest in-vessel components of ITER tokamak.My strength is having a broad system-oriented background for early phases of advanced planning and conceptual design, but I am also experienced in final design and prototyping. I am co-founder of BEDE Engineering.

Divertor Remote Handling System TroIter Organization Jun 2016 - Dec 2023Cadarache, FranceRemote Handling Engineer, Technical Responsible Officer of the Divertor RH System• The majority of the system is a European procurement package, my duty is to represent ITER Organization, as nuclear operator in the development, manufacturing and delivery processes. Management of physical and functional interfaces.• Technical integration of the entire system into the ITER environment.• Propagation of updated high level requirements and project changes were typical activities during thisperiod.• The system also includes directly procured items, which are electric feedthroughs. I am in charge of the complete development and procurement of them.• The position requires the management of two section member RH engineers and close collaboration with control system engineers. Regular meetings to be organized for the developer teams of supplier companies.Being member of the Remote Handling Section I am also responsible for the implementation of project change actions for all remote handling systems and participation in remote handling compatible development of in-vessel components.As a complementary task I was developing the first maintenance database for the radiological areas of the entire ITER project.
