Supervising engineer of a multi-span 100metre bridge. My responsibilities include:1. Examining the approved program for construction, checking progress and reporting to Focal person weekly;2. Provide technical backup to the contractor for effective works;3. Ensuring that the required standards of quality and accuracy of work and materials are maintained, including samples of materials and concrete tests; 4. Liaising with contractor in the review and interpretation of designs, drawings and technical specifications;5. Maintain daily record of progress of construction;6. Come up with solutions and make decisions for immediate works on behalf of client as well as relay major site instructions from Project Manager to contractor.
