Hi everyone,My name is Ouali Omani, I am 37 years old, married, dad of two daughters and I currently live in London. I have been interested in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology Industries since the beginning of my studies and had the chance to be an intern at Serum Institute of India Ltd., Nordic Pharma, Roche and Sanofi where I built my early career and learnt with passionate people how much it takes to develop innovation and bring it to patients.My passion is how to make highly innovate medicines and technologies available to patients wherever they live, whatever they can afford and whichever healthcare system they live in.In the last 13 years I have moved from Asia Pacific to the Middle East, North Africa, the USA, Switzerland back to North Africa and more recently to the United Kingdom. Since 11 years at Roche, I am proud to work in a company that focuses on bringing innovation to patients following the science.I have learnt a great deal in Diabetes, Oncology, Hematology, Rheumatology, Hepatitis C & B and more recently in Multiple Sclerosis and Neuroscience in roles going from business development to marketing, sales as well as access. Today I am the UK Lung Oncology Squad Lead. I am also part of the Strategy Cluster at Roche UK where our focus is to drive our portfolio to achieve better outcomes for more patients faster. I am equally passionate about my country Algeria and how I can make a positive impact by taking action on the fields of education, health, technologies and policies.
