I manage the Operating Room Renovation & extension project on Kumi Hospital premises, in Uganda. The project (worth ~€400.000,-) aims to improve orthopaedic surgery, including trauma treatment for the region. It includes renovation and construction of additional buildings, electrical and climate control installations, solar solutions and equipment procurement.Responsible for the operational aspect of the project, fundraising, grant and sponsor management (van Dorp Foundation, Wilde Ganzen), financial control, resource identification, manufacture and installation guidance for climate control system and local staff training. Liaison for Dutch hospitals and Medic Foundation to identify, transport and modify reusable medical equipment.

I am running the daily operations of the factory, together with my team. We divided into 3 mainstream operational tasks: Production, maintenance and supply chain. Daily running is focused on quality provision, overall effectiveness and authentic leadership.

Managing all aspects of the business unit for Remote Visual Inspection, under brand name Tecson Inspections.Profit & Loss accountable and responsible for aspects of managing a company. Responsible for Sales and marketing strategies, budgets, forecasts, HRM, processes, QA/QC and daily management of service providing and office staff.Provide Remote Visual inspection services, using industrial cameras, Remote Operated Vehicles (under water inspections) and drones for (petro) chemical, food- and pharmaceutical industry as well as government agencies related to infrastructure.

• Expatriated to Uganda and responsible for the start-up of Kumi Hospital-Agro Park Ltd.• Responsible for the proper set-up of the company, including business-, investment-, trading licenses, as well as setting up administration of salaries, HR, social services and required taxes. Organization of the start-up including logistics, marketing and supply chain management.• Represented the partner companies of UIC in Uganda to oversee a possible start-up of their activities in Uganda. • Represent TÜV Rheinland in Uganda.

As board member of Uganda Investment Corporation (U.I.C.) I am responsible for liaison between the board and Kumi Hospital Board.We aim to stimulate agricultural and economic development in Uganda, generate jobs and create welfare, a business approach to reduce poverty and increase food and income security.The company has been established by a group of Christian entrepreneurs in collaboration with the Dutch relief and development organization Woord en Daad. The owners of Uganda Investment Corporation are interested to explore opportunities for collaboration with likeminded organizations to develop a large scale farming/livestock operation in North Eastern Uganda. U.I.C. is in the process to start up a mixed farm on the premisses of Kumi hospital (Uganda): Kumi Hospital Agro Park (KHAP).

Managed Kumi Hospital Agro-Park Ltd. (KHAP) as a start-up, a business approach to sustainable entrepreneurship, economic development through job creation and increase in food security. Profit & Loss accountable, while working in a resource restricted environment where cultural sensitivity, communications skills and tenacity are a necessity. Evergreen Farm is a 200 Hectare pine plantation in Luwero (Uganda). The company aims to create jobs as well as a sustainable development of local economy.I was responsible for farm operations, client & supplier identification and grant management. I Identified, applied for, reported to and managed the SPGS grant under UNOPS.

• Rolled out the (Advanced) NDT strategy in IMEA (India, Middle East and Africa) and APA (Asia Pacific Australia) and support emerging NDT business of the group. • Actively participated in development of business plans, M&A activities and tender processes, where I was able to combine various disciplines of the group and represented the company as key note speaker on (A) NDT topics and asset integrity management.• Actively participated in the application of a variety of advanced NDT methods as well as implementation of FFS and asset management inspections.Provide advanced NDT services for (petro) chemical industry as well as government agencies related to infrastructure.

Managed the sustainable Energy Project for Kumi Hospital and surrounding communities in Uganda. The project includes providing electricity to hospital buildings, a renovation of the power line to surrounding staff quarters of 150 houses and the provision of smart solar solutions to vital medical equipment. I was responsible for daily operations, resource management, implementation and finance. During the Energy Project, I became a member of the hospital Management Team in an advisory role and support in structural changes within the hospital. I acted as Hospital Administrator during illness and restarted the existing farm, in anticipation of a larger investment, which I identified.

Profit & Loss accountable and responsible for all service activities in advanced NDT and member of the Management Team. Sonovation had offices in Europe Middle East and was running long term projects in Kazakhstan and Oman. I have shown capability to keep an overview, be pro-active and cope with stressful periods and have good communicative and social skills.Gained experience in the operational use of all conventional and advanced NDT Techniques, including high temperature applications and specific damage phenomena.

Parallel to my daily job, I cooperated in starting up a newly trained reservist squadron on Volkel Air Force base and was also co-founder of the initial education program (ICARes) for enlisted civilian personnel. I was promoted to Lieutenant First Class.

Responsible for replacement value calculations for fire insurance purposes, of inventory and (complex) installations in industry and government institutions. My capability to get an overview and structure my approach, I was able to record all relevant information. Here I expanded my capacity to link information and find solutions where information or connection are lacking.

Responsible for repair and maintenance on CNC machines

• Responsible for mechanized inspections (Rotoscan) on oil and gas pipelines, around the world. • Trained and passed my UT level II as well as MT/PT and radiation expertise. • Worked on- and offshore performing the inspections together with a team of 3 people and in some cases with more teams. During the last year, I was posted in Poland and responsible for the operations of 3 teams, spread through the country.

I achieved the rank of Lieutenant Second Class, based on my leadership competencies.Platoon commander, responsible for ground force and base security.
