Transforming young Africans into leaders and leaders into agents of change

As a Teaching Assistant for General Business 365 (Compass Course), I transformed individuals’ live one at a time by transferring educational and professional knowledge and by giving my students an opportunity to develop a portfolio of skills needed to effectively contribute to the world around them, both in their career and beyond.

Exposure in Assurance, Financial Services, Tax and Advisory

• Supported the mission of the expense management unit and helped management achieve corporate and strategic plan goals • Provided the expense management unit with operational information and related analysis pertaining to the company financial stability • Assisted the department with expense deviation reporting, expense forecasting and the preparation of vendors review

• Assisted the Chair to develop a policy segment for fall training• Liaison between the shared governance committee and other branches within the student government • Researched past and current university and state policies that have a bearing on the interpretation and implementation on articles

• Operated cash register to accept admissions and souvenir gift payments in accordance with cash handling procedures• Interacted with all visitors in a friendly, professional manner, with exemplary customer service delivery

• Represented a student population of 44,000 students to advocate their needs and make a positive change on campus • Managed a student activities fee budget exceeding $4,000,000 by allocating salaries expenses, health and transportation costs• Chaired the executive council meetings and co-chaired the student activities board and created collaborative partnerships with college Administration
