Dave is a professional outdoor athlete, coach and cinematographer. Together with his wife they operate Natural Fitness Lab, O2 Film Productions and The Oxygen Foundation. The principals of National Fitness Lab - Dave McMahon and Lise Meloche first met on the National Biathlon Team and formed a lasting personal and professional partnership centred around sport.Dave is a 2022 World Masters Cross Country Skiing Champion. He was a Canadian National Biathlon Champion, and Winter Triathlon Champion, ranked 3rd in the World for summer biathlon, and represented Canada at the World Snowshoe Championships and Cross Country Skiing and Biathlon World Cup Circuit. He represented Canada in 6 sports. Dave is a pro-elite winter triathlete and trail runner. Eastern Canadian Mountain and trail running champion. Dave is a professionally certified coach.Lise is a 2022 World Masters Cross Country Skiing Champion. She raced two Olympic games and 200 World Cups; winning 7 medals, including four (4) Golds. She was the Canadian, USA and Swiss National Biathlon Champion, raced for Canada on the World Cup in cross-country Skiing and Biathlon. Lise was also a Junior National K2 Kayak Champion. Lise is a Kinesiologist, educator and professional certified coach.Together, Dave and Lise: wrote the cross-country ski manual; produced multiple training systems built an independent film production company; produced several award winning films on outdoor sport; launched a sports channel viewership of two-million subscribers; and mentored thousands of people to ski, trail run and snowshoe through natural fitness lab - the largest adult skiing, snowshoeing and trail running program in the country.They recently released a feature-length IMAX film in theatres called “Oxygen” about outdoor athleticism, empowered by women.Look them up in Who’s Who in Canadian Sport, Volume 3 1999 by Bob Ferguson ISBN 1-894282-00-0.
