Being a student for five years now I have gained significant knowledge in public speaking, working in teams, critical thinking, time management and am currently developing technical writing skills.To develop my public speaking skills, I have completed a public speaking honors class. In this class, I learned how to become more comfortable speaking in front of an audience. I have gained the ability to communicate information competently by delpoving and delivering speeches. As a student, I have completed many projects with other classmates. From this, I have learned to keep an open mind to others ideas. Working in a group has taught me there is more than one way of doing things. I have learned to be more flexible and adapt to unexpected obstacles ultimately being more open to change. Every class assignment, paper, reading, and project have taught me to think carefully in order to analyze and gather information ultimately teaching the skill of critical thinking.
