I am a business and public relations professional, with strong experience in influencing political decision-making, not only in entrepreneurship, but also in industrial and EU-based regional policy. My roots are in Lapland, near the Arctic circle, which perhaps explains my calm character, even under pressure. Over my career, I have visited almost every municipality in Finland, and worked extensively with the Barents region. I have worked in a wide variety of workplaces (private & public sector, regional, state and international).This gives me a deep and holistic understanding of how decision-making works in practice. I have built up very wide networks including companies, state officials, confederations and key influencers in Finnish and EU economic policy. I have a strong base in network leadership and project management, varying from local and national campaigns to multi-million euro EU-programs with actors in four different countries.I'm also a strong believer in the Finnish innovation and education system and in general, in humankind's capacity to solve problems.
