I was hired to create, organize and supervise an Art Department and a Decorating Department. This required designing hand painted mirrors, furniture and accessories, documenting teaching outlines for instruction and training, hiring assistants and production staff along with production management of all hand painted products. Position included graphic arts, rendering ad slicks and illustrations for catalogs, price lists and brochures. At La Barge's national showrooms, I often embellished the spaces with faux finishes or hand painted trompe l'oeil and assisted with setting up showrooms.
