Since 2008 I started a company called Can-iT together with two former collegues of Wageningen University. Can-iT BV is a leading company in easy to use trainingtools and usergenerated content. The tools are adapted world-wide for a wide range of purposes. Can-iT B,V. gaat vanaf 1juni 2021 verder onder de naam AVMEDIAGROUP B.V.

In 2002 me and my colleges at the Innovation and Research department together with the staff of the educational department at Wageningen University evaluted the status and effect of e-learning/distance learning on students and teachers at Wageningen University. Based on the outcome we managed to develop a strategy. This strategy called EDUweb and EDUclass became the success story of e-Learning at Wageningen University. In the years after I became responsible for the technical implementation and management of the e-Learning applications such as BlackBoard, SharePoint Portal, Portfolio, QuestionMark perception, Lotus Quickplace, Harvest Road Hive etc.

I created and maintained educational content and websites for faculty staff. I participated in a European project called Ariadne which aimed to create a european educational content repository. Furthermore I developed a software application to combine audio and slides into a rich media website.

During my work at the Gis and Remote sensing group at Wageningen University I studied the effect of multiple-angle remote sensing images on crop growth predictions in a European project (http://www.geo-informatie.nl/projects/bcrs/multisensor/report1/index.html) . Furthermore I wrote a report for the BCRS named: Applications of optical remote sensing satellite sensors.

During my work at the Joint Researc Centre (JRC) in Ispra Italy if have studied the multi-angle effects of remote sensing images in relation to crop growth predictions.
