Key components of this continued success involved:• Carefully managing the partner channel overlap with Novell's direct sales force to build valuable references and replicable solutions with the partner's own direct sales force and downstream partners.• Constantly evolving the proposition to these partner under changing market dynamics for Enterprise Linux market which challenged the traditional software resale model. • Designed and ran partner marketing activities which usually involved presenting at customer seminars and technology roadshows which stimulated customer pull for the products. • Recruitment of the downstream Linux partners of HP, IBM and, surprisingly, Dell.• Management of non-Novell distributors to enable downstream channel for HP and IBM.Key individual in the Open Platform Business in the UK and EMEA and used extensively by the Novell sales force to position the business importance of Enterprise Linux to customers and partners. -
