His recent cases have involved breach of contract, trusts, unjust enrichment and estoppel. He is currently instructed in relation to an action against insurers for breach of contract and negligence.Owain has considerable experience of debt recovery work and in relation to secured and unsecured lending. He handles a range of personal and corporate insolvency matters. He has recently advised in relation to injunctive relief preventing the presentation of a winding-up petition relating to a debt in excess of £750,000 and in a case involving nuisance and negligence arising from building works.HousingOwain is regularly instructed to advise on landlord and tenant disputes including possession proceedings and matters relating to the Tenancy Deposit Scheme. Prior to coming to the Bar, Owain gained experience of housing litigation involving Anti-Social Behaviour Orders and committals, lease disputes and allocation issues.Personal InjuryOwain advises and appears at all stages of claims involving road traffic accidents and occupier's liability. Public and RegulatoryOwain's practice to date has included appeals to the Asylum Tribunal, advising in relation to judicial review and appearing in the Crown Court in relation to disclosure matters.During pupillage, Owain saw a range of regulatory prosecution work involving fraud and public protection.EmploymentOwain advises principally in relation to unfair dismissal claims.
