Fascinated by the world of data and its uses in our daily lives, I found myself wanting to understand its intricacies and importance in the world we live in today!Hi, my name is Owais Mohammed, and I am a rising senior majoring in Information Technology & Systems at the University of Texas at Dallas. For the past few years, I have worked on a multitude of projects surrounding big data, specifically on ETL processes with an added focus on data analytics and visualization. Most recently, I have interned in a data analytics role, where a majority of my contributions came through the creation of data visualizations using Microsoft Power BI and Excel to meet customer requests, helping communicate insights and propose data-driven solutions through curated dashboards.I have also been fortunate to work and lead change in the esports space for the last 3 years and counting! My passion for business, data, and gaming converged in this dynamic industry, providing me with firsthand experience in various roles related to management, marketing and organizational development.
