The Joint National Training Capability (JNTC) is a collection of interoperable training sites, nodes, and events that synthesizes Combatant Commander and Service training requirements and enables trainers to provide the appropriate “joint context”. The Role Player (RP) Planner translated Rotational Training Unit (RTU) Training Objectives into RP Personnel Requirements, MSEL event scripting, coordination with OPFOR, and dynamic management of RPs (~ 100 dispersed personnel) during execution. Scripted scenario storylines/events for RP support to Training Objectives. Tracked event completion and training objective accomplishment to ensure successful training of the RTU.

The Operational Environment/Exercise Support Directorate (OESD) leads large scale US Army, Joint, and multinational military exercises and supports US Army training standardization for TRADOC G-2 to assist home station unit level training, operational/institutional training units, exercise support agency leadership, and Combined Training Centers. The OESD provides tailored on-site support and replication/delivery of complex and dynamic Operational Environments (OEs), including cyber threat emulation and social media replication, through a variety of Live, Virtual, and Constructive domains.
