I am a social research professional with over six years experience working in academia and government social research. I have a range of peer-reviewed academic publications and have led several large scale government evaluations. I have a broad range of policy interests including environment and climate, international development and international social policy. My passion is in applying my research skills to improve decision making in these areas. I currently lead a portfolio of evaluations of net zero and fuel poverty-related schemes and policies. These evaluations use a mixture of theory-based, quantitative and qualitative research methods. I apply my technical skills to ensure outputs from these evaluations are high-quality, whilst working closely with policy officials to ensure evidence is used appropriately to shape future policy design. I previously worked as a Monitoring and Evaluation Adviser in International Climate Finance and a Senior Research Officer in the Joint Work and Health Unit (DWP/DHSC). Before this, I undertook a PhD in Social Policy where I applied a range of advanced regression-based approaches.I am keen to continue developing my expertise and applying my skills in a range of different contexts.
