- Progression didn’t stop there. I have recently been appointed the Events and Hospitality Manager. Due to this promotion, I produce events from conception to completion to ensure a seamless delivery, with a very high level of service that will exceed expectations something that my testimonials will vouch for.- I have to ensure that all events, both match day and non-match day are provided with the optimum level of equipment, services, product and staff, to ensure that the best possible standard of service is offered whilst effectively controlling costs in line with Elior standards.- Produce cost rosters for non-match day and match day business.

- On the day of the event, I take the lead role in meeting and greeting the clients, ensuring their day goes as smoothly as possible and any issues which are raised, are where possible, dealt with immediately. This has given me the confidence to deal with high-pressure situations without hesitation. - Progression continued throughout my placement year in which I became bar supervisor within one of the main stadium hospitality facilities on match day, the 1865 VIP suite, one of my rolls is to liaise with customers to ensure they have the experience expected from a major national venue. Thus reiterating my ability to deal with high-pressure, stressful situations for top clients

- As a result of this work, I was asked to take on additional responsibilities, which were involved on my placement year, overseeing weddings and parties, in turn my responsibilities returned the title of Senior event coordinator- This work involved ensuring all tables were presented correctly involving, dressing, table plans, seating arrangements, VIP arrangements and general care of customers.

- This position originally involved extensive amounts of bar and function responsibilities including: stocktaking, cashing up, serving customer, undertaking re-ordering and ensuring the bar was running efficiently and sales were maximised.

- Another employment opportunity arose from a referral from my manager at N.F.F.C, I was employed as a manager to oversee the quality of service that other staff were providing the customers. - Worked with companies at such as JH Walters and Savills at Cereals 2012 and 2013 and the Lincolnshire Show 2012 and 2013, with over 20,000 attendees over the 2 days at both events.- The level of trust shown by a new employer purely based on a referral from N.F.F.C continues to inspire me to produce better.

- During the London 2012 Olympics, I was employed to manage the Leeds ‘Big Screen’ site after referrals from University created this opportunity.- Liaising with the city council before, during and after the event, to ensure the safety of the attendees. I personally took accounts of the number of attendees throughout the duration of the Olympics, which were used by the local council to monitor staffing and crowd control.- I was trained to use the operating system of all of the Big Screens in case of any technical faults, during the Olympic broadcasting. With constant monitoring of sound levels and picture quality to ensure the BBC and its service levels were being implemented. - Constant communication with every member of the BBC Big Screen team from Event co-ordinators to general managers, to ensure throughout the country that quality was being adhered too.- BBC mutually agreed the termination of the contracts with local councils of all ‘Big Screens’, which in turn made my job redundant.

Planning, co-ordinating and managing the practicalities and logistics of the wristband exchange for Live at Leeds music festival held annually across a variety of venues in Leeds on the first bank holiday weekend of May.
