Owen acted for builders, developers, homeowners & other stakeholders in the building and construction industry. Owen also took instructions from business owners in general commercial litigation matters. His experiences to date include:- Acting in the Supreme Court of Appeal for an appeal of a VCAT determination involving a multi-million dollar development;- Judicial review of a Building Appeals Board determination in the Supreme Court;- Trusts and partnership disputes in the Supreme Court;- Medium to high dollar domestic building litigation in VCAT;- Insolvency disputes;- Corporate debt recovery; - General domestic building contract advice;- Building Practitioner Advocacy.
