As the Head Design Lead of Carnegie Mellon Solar Racing I was responsible for managing the design of a 17ft solar-powered boat that we race every summer at the Solar Splash competition in Springfield, Ohio. I also led the redesign of a new hull for our 2022 boat.

As a Process Engineering Intern with the Unconventional Plants and Technical Services group, I worked with industry experts, operators, and modeling tools to analyze different methods of natural gas recovery and emissions reduction at ExxonMobil's Cotton Valley plant. My work helped identify a solution that reduces emissions by over 100 tons per year while increasing yearly gross profits by over $50,000.

Portland, Oregon Area

As a summer intern for the Structural and Dynamic Analysis group at DTNA I wrote Python scripts that helped facilitate the finite element analysis of full truck assemblies. I worked in tandem with our analysts to create various pre and post-processing software tools to increase the efficiency of their workflow.

Houston, Texas Area

During my summer at Transmit Receive Labs (TXRX Labs), I gained experience teaching a number of technical skills, including coding and computer aided design, to middle and high school students. I also aided in the training of aspiring Region 4 computer science teachers. When I was not teaching, I worked in the rapid fabrication section of the lab, repairing FDM, SLA, and SLS 3D printers.
