Owen is a Director and Insolvency Practitioner at R&H Restructuring (Cayman) Ltd. He is a Chartered Accountant and Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales. In 2024, Owen successfully completed the Global Insolvency Practice Course to become an INSOL Fellow. Owen has been working within corporate restructuring, insolvency and turnaround for over a decade. He has specialise in offshore cross boarder insolvency and restructuring for the last five year and has been an appointment taking Insolvency Practitioner in both the British Virgin Islands and more recently the Cayman Islands. He has a proven track-record in successfully delivering and managing a range of restructuring assignments including complex multi jurisdiction administrations and liquidations, receivership appointments, contentious directorship appointments, asset tracing and forensic accounting, independent business reviews, stakeholder management, financial restructuring, distressed M&A and exit/contingency planning. Resent highlights include:• Liquidator of a European based investment fund involving complex multi-jurisdictional settlements, substantial investigation and asset tracing;• Liquidator of a BVI company which manages a timeshare members scheme with c3,000 club members. The company is part of a wider insolvent timeshare group which operated in both Europe and wider world;• Liquidator to an investment business which traded government bonds and crystallised significant losses during the start of the COVID-19 pandemic; • Supervisor of a Company Creditors Arrangement involving a BVI holding company to a specialist construction business based in the UK; • Part of the senior liquidation team of Platinum Partners Value Arbitrage, a large hedge fund collapse with worldwide assets;• Receivership appointments in cross-border asset disputes and in support of judgment enforcement; Owen is a member of RISA, the Cayman chapter of INSOL and sits on the Membership & Communication Sub Committee. In addition he is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute.
