- Supporting the Urban Ag at the Market project, funded by the CDFA Specialty Crop Block Grant- Project targets a wide audience from established urban farmers to small-scale backyard growers, with the goal of providing curriculum which will allow them to scale up operations and sell at local farmers markets thus expanding specialty crop access for underserved communities- Conducted literature review of existing curriculum and resources for urban farmers in Los Angeles- Drafted a 25-page curriculum outline for the Urban Agriculture Accelerator Curriculum- Organized and conducted key informant interviews with 8 established urban farmers in Los Angeles County to determine significant curricular topics and document farmers’ successes and challenges in selling at farmers’ markets- Prepared proposals for Internal Review Board process- Presented research findings at the 2024 Undergraduate Research Center Summer Research Conference- Research funded by the Obama Scholars program and administrated by the Undergraduate Research Center
