As an IT intern at Continental Tire in Mt. Vernon, IL during the summer of 2022, an instrumental role was played in optimizing the company’s IT framework supporting a building of over 3600 employees. Skills were honed in software installation, device imaging, server management, resolving issues on the phone and in person, resolving IT tickets, and troubleshooting in this dynamic role while actively contributing to the IT helpdesk’s success by taking off stress from other coworkers. Software learned and utilized includes Active Directory, UltraVNC, LANdesk, and company legacy software.

Informal unpaid IT internship which met once a week at the Murphysboro Police station but would sometimes meet at the community center or fire station depending on what is being done that day.This internship introduced me to the networking side of computer science.* Used Active Directory to manage city computers.* Set up a security camera using CAT6 wiring for Murphysboro Fire Department.
