In my current role as a Senior Innovation Consultant, I lead and manage complex innovation projects, ensuring successful delivery from conception to completion. In this role, I supported the delivery of one of NICA’s flagship programmes, the UK-China Healthy Ageing Innovation Stream (HAIS). Thus far I have played a key role in the delivery of several milestones across a range of activities in the programme, including citizen engagement, digital platform development, bilateral business innovation missions, dissemination, and accelerator programmes. I have also supported the wider delivery of NICA services to both SEM and blue-chip firms. Employed by Teesside University on a Knowledge Transfer Partnership for one year to review innovation within Godfrey Syrett Ltd, a contract furniture manufacturer. I was subsequently able to highlight strengths and weaknesses in their system together with proposals on how to improve their design process.
