I am a fourth-year student with a combined major in Architectural Studies and Graphic and Information Design graduating in May 2025. I am currently seeking a full-time co-op position in a Graphic Design field beginning in July 2024 where I can apply my coursework and technical skills to contribute to the mission and priorities of the firm in a work environment that values continuous learning, collaboration and initiative. My enthusiasm for art, architecture, music and urban living brought me to the College of Arts, Media and Design at Northeastern University in Boston. My core personal strengths include creativity, communication, collaboration and a strong work ethic. I successfully completed a full-time six-month co-op work experience at Bechtel Frank Erickson Architects in Lexington, MA in May 2022, currently host an R&B radio show on WRBB 104.9 FM, and work part-time at a vintage clothing shop in Cambridge where I am responsible for creating digital content for the store’s social media profile, sales, customer service and inventory management. I have taken a variety of arts and design courses that has helped me understand and improve my craft, such as Color and Composition, Typography, Design Process and Information Design courses. I have gained a great appreciation for art by also taking Modern Art History and Graphic Design History courses that have helped me understand the origins of design, as well as visiting art museums in Boston, New York, Montreal and Barcelona. I have enjoyed learning and developing my understanding of architecture in my studio classes like Architecture Representation and Design, as well as Site, Space and Program. I have been able to practice and refine my physical art skills through painting and drawing classwork, which have effectively translated to complement my digital design skills and style. My project work using Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, AutoCad and Rhino 3D have helped strengthen my technical skills and expand my portfolio work.
