As the founder of Just For Fun Farms, I am passionate about providing nutrient-dense microgreens to the Worcester community. My journey began with a desire to make healthy, affordable food accessible to college students, which led to building a thriving business. Today, I supply microgreens to farmers markets, wholesale distributors, grocery stores, local restaurants, and home delivery subscribers, ensuring that fresh, sustainable produce is always close to home.My commitment to agriculture and food justice has deep roots in my work with the Worcester Regional Environmental Council (REC). As a Farm Associate, I contribute year-round to maintaining urban farms and community gardens, addressing food insecurity through innovative practices. Leading volunteer groups, the YouthGROW program and managing farm infrastructure are just some of the ways I support this mission. At Clark University’s Hadwen Arboretum, I balance my passion for nature with my dedication to community spaces. My work focuses on forest management, trail maintenance, and environmental stewardship to ensure the arboretum remains a clean, welcoming space for all. Additionally, I help coordinate a community garden there, fostering opportunities for growth and connection.Leadership and Campus InvolvementOn campus, I take pride in being the President of Herban Gardeners, Clark’s urban gardening club. Together with our team, I’m leading efforts to expand our campus garden, creating more opportunities to promote food security. As Vice President of the Entrepreneurship Club, I support fellow students in building and growing their businesses. From planning hands-on workshops to offering mentorship, I aim to empower others to bring their entrepreneurial visions to life.
