- Monitor and maintain reporting and remittance deadlines established for each investor.- Manage the daily and monthly operational accounting processes related to the specific investors to ensure timely preparation and reconciliation of investor reports.- Ensure the smooth integration of newly closed and/or transferred loans into the remittance reporting cycle.- Resolve reporting or remittance differences by performing detailed loan level analysis in coordination with internal and investor stakeholders.- Validate data received from other departments and ensure timely resolution of outstanding items/discrepancies modifications, liquidations, transfers, service releases.- Adapt and create robust reporting for new loan products, investors as well as changes to servicing agreements and/or reporting requirements.- Drive the automation of reporting and reconciliations utilizing both ERP software (Intacct) as well asthe servicing system. This will require strong cross-functional collaboration and partnerships with other internal departments. - Assist in the monthly review and reconciliation of repurchases.- Support cash management functions which include, daily/monthly review and reconciliation of investor custodial accounts, preparation of remittance wires and other tasks as needed.- Periodically review and update written policies and procedures to ensure both the accuracy of the underlying accounting records as well as compliance with servicing agreements.
