Served on the executive team of Lucid Software, a leading provider of cloud-based visual collaboration suite including Lucidchart, Lucidpress, and Lucidspark. My primary focus was being the GM of Lucidpress.During my tenure, Lucid's products were used 175 countries by more than 17 million users including customers like Comcast, NASA, Netflix, Target and Uber. I was lucky to work with some of the best people and leaders I know in helping Lucid Software grow to more than $100M in ARR (annual recurring revenue) and a $3B+ valuation.We executed a spin out and acquisition of Lucidpress in 2021 with Charles Thayne Capital and Lucidpress became a fully independent company (rebranded to Marq in 2022).

I had a blast working my way through college and seeing the world. I learned from inspiring leaders and caught the entrepreneurial bug in a big way.Sales & Marketing at Digis: B2C and B2B sales -- highest sales close ratio of all sales representatives during tenure. Worked with executive team to develop an inbound sales call system. Commissioned to write the official company Sales Training Manual. Coordinated, tracked, and analyzed all marketing activities. We tried it all: bulk mail, direct mail, radio, texting, billboard, print and online campaigns. Helped with copy, design management, and sales processes.Full-time Missionary & Czech Language Instructor:Two years as a volunteer missionary in the Czech Republic, which became my second home. Outside of ecclesiastical responsibilities, we taught courses on how to speak English and how to quit smoking.
