I would head to work at my assigned times and get the truck ready with all the supplies and equipment needed for the event I was working at. I would then drive to the event and I would make and sell the Hawaiian ice at the event. This is a very independent job where my boss trusts me to take his truck and go sell his ice all on my own. I would go days of work at a time without seeing another co-worker. This job helped me to improve my communication skills, organization skills, and time management skills.

We would build and clean ponds, mulch yards, clean weeds out of flowerbeds, and other lawn care needs people had for us. This job helped me to improve my teamwork skills. It also helped me to have a job that was hands-on and helped me show that I can do a dirty work, hands-on job.
