Investigating OpenAI capabilities for source code security analysis, evaluation, and correction.The OpenAI company (openai.com) has built an API in front of their Generative Pre-trained Transformer 3 (GPT-3) language prediction model. GPT-3 is a deep learning neural network capable of sophisticated text generation. OpenAI further extended the API through Codex, a system that generates code from natural language. Using both of these capabilities, the API is able to explain, summarize, and generate source code for multiple programming languages.
