My clients/partners included a recording studio, a skateboard manufacturer, a handmade soap company, a national youth network, a cooperative association, and a design festival. My work involved establishing legal entities, negotiating shareholders’ agreements and articles of association, developing business proposals and plans, building budgets and cash flow forecasts, designing operational procedures, restructuring working groups, facilitating meetings, recruiting, and writing funding applications - contributed to capturing £126k in 2021 (inc. Arts Council England, local authorities, Community Housing Fund).

Providing leadership and secretarial support to the Board of Directors and coordinating tasks among the working groups as well as assuming responsibility for the overall development of the cooperative, its structures, and its processes.

Fully-funded PhD programme with teaching requirement. Research: Qualitative case-study based research adopting a constructivist grounded theory approach to data analysis and theory-building. Focused on worker cooperatives in the UK that had survived more than 20 years and exceeded 50 member-owners while still aspiring towards direct workplace democracy. Interested in exploring the limits of horizontal human organizing and the insights such cases hold for the economy, society, and political landscape. Teaching: Experience lecturing (70-90 students) and delivering smaller classes/seminars (8-20 students) at both undergraduate and masters level, primarily in organizational behaviour and human resources.
