• Conducted biomarker assay validation of a ligand-binding assay in accordance with FDA guidelines for a phase I clinical trial exploratory endpoint.• Subject matter expert and technical lead for impedance- and imaging- based cytotoxicity assays having developed several in vitro cancer reactivity models and authored internal SOPs.• Developed in vivo models with a CRO contracted to a value of >£100,000 from APR-2021 to DEC-2022 to quantify tumour growth and mouse survival for two pipeline candidates.• Co-ordinated material transfers between InstilBio UK and a CROto quantify T cell engraftment by flow cytometry and perform pharmacokinetic biomarker assessment by ELISA.• Lead author of two non-clinical reports included in a successful IND application. Authored, collated and reviewed ELN entries for inclusion in non-clinical study reports and the FDA briefing book.

Perfomed the primary research for, and authored, a PhD thesis entitlted: 'Engineering homing properties of cancer specific T-lymphocytes in adoptive cell therapy' within Professor Ann Ager's research group. The project was supervised by Professor Ann Ager, Dr Vera Knauper and Professor David Price. Additional training was provided by Professor Hinrich Abken (Centre for Molecular Medicine Cologne) and funded by Jorden NTK bequest fund.

Conducted a research project to engineer retroviral vectors for transgene expression in murine T-cells for cancer immunotherapy model development under the supervision of Dr Andrew Newman and Dr Angharad Watson.

Conducted a research project to develop novel peptide inhibitors for immune-checkpoint blockade via phage panning under the supervision of Dr Margaret Duffy, Professor Alan Parker and Professor Len Seymour.
