I am a Boise State student, studying accounting and finance. I am looking towards maintaining a CPA license while gaining experience in customer service and business knowledge. I have taken both intermediate accounting, completed QuickBooks and accounting cycle projects while also becoming a managerial accounting teaching assistant. I accomplished all of this while maintaining a 3.62 GPA through my junior year of college and making Dean's List every semester. This summer I am working as a Sales Intern with Keenan and Associates in Torrance, California. I am looking forward to broadening my skills in customer service and learning more about the insurance sales cycle. I am looking forward to a great summer with an awesome company.My working experience consists of management of people, projects and trainings at Shadow Brook Swim Club. I managed a swim lessons project that generated upwards of $40,000 dollars in revenue. The coordination and training was taught by me, along with maintaining and updating the system. I started out as a Junior Lifeguard and made my way up to Pool Manager in my 4th year before deciding to move onto something different. Outside of that I have gained valuable knowledge in customer service and people skills as a Sales Associate at Ace Hardware, Golf Attending Assistant at Cinnabar Hills, and Lifeguard at Boise State Aquatics Center. Although all short lived, I learned great lessons such as time management, the importance of hard work, and most of all working as a team. Everywhere I have been I look for learning experiences through good or bad work to build and flourish my career.
