This summer internship provided valuable experience within the industry, exploring the innovating potential in military grade equipment. Collaborated with a small team of graduates developing a new piece of sound localisation sensor technology. Developed an algorithm to detect the angle of incoming sound with the use of a 4-microphone array (2x2).

Aspects of this role varied from carpentry to welding, expanding skill set and mind set to not only technical, but physical too. Enhanced team working skills and gained a greater understanding of how a production line operates. Due to the nature of going to various contract sites as a labourer during this employment, for example the new Tottenham Stadium’s Conference room and sky lounge improved communication and adaptability to different working environments.

Addressed customers in need by providing knowledge on key features of products, advising accordingly depending on requirements. Developed confidence and communication skills with unfamiliar people resulting in accurate composure for effective conversation.
