I’m the salvage and flowline team leader at Portals. Driving and implementing change and coordinating tasks for the salvage and flowline teams.

While I was in the sheet examiner role I also worked on the flowline when needed and gained full sign off for the role. I worked permanently on the flowline after my secondment round the packing shed. The role was to palletise and ream up the paper back to 500 sheets after the salvage process ready for packing.

I was seconded in the role of export packing operative on shift, packing pallets for delivery.

I worked in this role in salvage department, which is like a quality control area, where you would look for and remove sheets that have a visual defect in it using my judgement and visual standards
