Surinavi created the first publicly available and affordable digital routing map for Suriname. The navigation software runs on PND's and on mobile phones. For Paramaribo we collected all house numbers and geocoded the map. Our streetmap map covers all of Suriname accessible roads countrywide. We also created the first streetview of Suriname. In het ziekenhuis werden intern meer dan 60.000 verschillende producten besteld. Dit verliep via het ERP waar een kleine groep mensen bestellingen kon invoeren.Als e-commerce ontwikkelaar heb ik het interne logistieke bestelproces in kaart gebracht en het mogelijk gemaakt dat iedereen (3000+) een bestelling kon plaatsen en inzage had in voorraad en productinformatie.Tijdens het nieuwe bestelproces werden alle bestellingen direct aan de juiste afdeling/budget gekoppeld en realtime aan het bestaande ERP doorgegeven. De nieuwe bestelmodule was een aangepaste versie van een opensource webwinkel pakket. Door die keuze was de webapplicatie op het intranet door de "look and feel" voor iedereen meteen herkenbaar als webwinkel en was minimale uitleg en training noodzakelijk. Tevens zorgde een koppeling naar het ERP voor dagelijkse prijsaanpassingen en voortgangs-overzichten naar de gebruikers en budgethouders.

All databases where hosted on dedicated Mysql Clusters. Special dedicated servers for the hosting of webshops assured performance at all times. Our Extreme Networks switch and Gnat Box Firewall connected the servers to the internetbackbone.

Member of system administrators handling the NOVELL network on three locations with over 1000 workstations. All workstations where fully re-imaged (Ghost) each night to prevent abuse and to ensure that it worked during daytime. Creating and deploying new desktop setups was one of my favorite jobs. I also wrote small scripts that helped us to control the network environment.
