Senior Examination Specialist (It Cybersecurity)
CurrentCYBER, INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY, & OPERATIONAL RESILIENCY (CITOR) SECTIONAs a member of the Cyber, Information Technology and Operational Resiliency (CITOR) Section I am responsible for participating in on-site targeted reviews, horizontal examinations, and other supervisory activities to assess the adequacy of cybersecurity, information technology, and shared services at U.S.-based Global Systemically Important Banks (G-SIBs). I also conduct off-site horizontal analysis and risk reporting activities and produces reports that effectively analyze technology-related operational risks. Additionally, I review and conduct quality control reviews of key deliverables authorized under Section 165(d) of Title I of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act (DFA) Title I and Section 360.10 of the FDIC’s Rules and Regulations (IDI Rule) Resolution Plan review process.Perform ongoing analysis of operational strength and resilience to maintain safe-and-sound operations through a range of conditions including but not limited to maintaining effective cybersecurity and information technology controls to provide for the continuity of the institution (including critical operations and banking offices) and to promote compliance with laws and regulationsDevelop and deliver comprehensive horizontal risk analysis and reporting to the Division of Complex Institution Supervision and Resolution (CISR) employeesCoordinate and collaborate with interagency colleagues to share information and reporting, and identify emerging risks that warrant heightened supervisory focusPartner with federal banking agencies on high-risk and/or high profile examinations, including the examination of the adequacy of cyber risk and Information Technology risk management practices
