I have recently taken a keen interest in multiculturalism and how we can gain intercultural communication competency as curious residents of a global village, which has resulted in hosting my radio show - Across Cultures.Immigrant Muse is my brainchild and passion project. As a start-up founder of an online media company that empowers immigrants to thrive in Canada, my transferable skills from the corporate world have been immensely useful in the business world. In this new chapter, strategic communication has transitioned into strategic business management, stakeholder engagement into human resource management, data analysis into business analysis, and issues management into change management. It has been an interesting learning curve, and I love every twist and turn.The most fulfilling aspect of being a founder is seeing the impact my product is making and getting valuable feedback from my audience to pivot in response to the changing needs of the audience.
