Øyvind is a technologist, he holds a bachelors degree in information technology from The Norwegian School Of Information Technology (NITH) specializing in web development and usabillity.He have been working with the web since he was 13 years old programming various web applications such as content management systems.In August 2010 he was appointed a Microsoft Student Partner (at the time the only one in Norway) and worked together with Microsoft to build student communities in Norway. Previously working at Innovation Norway HQ in Oslo with the technical responsibility for Innovation Norways web applications. While working at Innovation Norway Øyvind has extended his knowledge of the Microsoft product portfolio and uses this to advice on the best solution to solve the problem at hand.Øyvind believes that if you are going to work with the application (i.e programming) you need to know a lot about the platform running it (i.e. servers, network etc.) and vice versa.
